Analysis
This ordinance requires a food dealer license applicant to file with his or her application a copy of the document that establishes the right of the applicant to occupy the premises for which a license is sought.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 68-4-2.5 of the code is created to read to read:
68-4. Food Dealer License.
2.5. DOCUMENTS ESTABLISHING OCCUPANCY. a. An applicant shall file with the license application a copy of the document that establishes the right of the applicant to occupy the premises for which a license is sought. Documents establishing a right to occupy a premises include deeds, leases, accepted offers to purchase and similar documents, including agreements that are contingent upon issuance of the requested license.
b. An applicant shall provide any additional information that may be requested by the city clerk relating to the terms and conditions of occupancy of the premises for which the license is sought.
