Analysis
Resolution authorizes the sale and issuance of General Obligation Promissory Notes.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee will have before it a resolution authorizing the issuance of Sewerage System Revenue Bonds (“Resolution”) for the purpose refunding the City’s Sewerage System Revenue Bonds, Series 2013 S5 and Sewerage System Revenue Bonds, Series 2016 S7; and
Whereas, The Resolution will provide that the bonds shall be sold by the Commissioners of the Public Debt (“Commissioners”) at a private or public sale to underwriters selected by the Commissioners; and
Whereas, On December 5, 2025, the City’s Municipal Advisor, at the direction of the Comptroller, distributed a Request for Proposal for Underwriting Services for the Sewerage System Revenue Refunding Bonds; and
Whereas, a committee has reviewed the responses received; and
Whereas, the Commissioners have received and discussed the evaluation and recommendations of the committee;
Now therefore, be it resolved, By the Commissioners that _______________ is appointed as the Senior Managing Underwriter for the Sewerage System Revenue Refunding Bonds; and be it
Further resolved, by the Commissioners that _______________ is appointed as the Co-Managing Underwriter for the Sewerage System Revenue Refunding Bonds.
