Minutes note: Ms. Hatala gave a summary and PowerPoint presentation (Exhibit 1) on the nomination of the Milwaukee River Parkway for National Register status this year. The parkway encompasses four municipalities. Under consideration for the commission was the parkway from Good Hope Road and West Capitol Drive. Ms. Hatala stated the commission's duty was to give an opinion indicating support or nonsupport of the nomination. The commission's decision would be forwarded to the State Historic Preservation Office and included in the comments when the nomination is reviewed by the State Review Board next month.
Ms. Ackerman moved approval of the National Register nomination for the Milwaukee River Parkway. Seconded by Ms. Balon. There were no objections. | Pass | 4:0 |
