Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Multi-Family Residential (RM6 and RM4) to Two-Family Residential (RT3 and RT4), on land located generally East of North 20th Street and South of West State Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the zoning for existing and vacant residential properties to be consistent with the Near West Side Plan.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-501(2)(a).0002. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area described and bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way of North 20th Street, a line 135 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 20th Street, a line 157.50 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Wells Street and a line 250 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Wells Street; and
 
The zoning line along the right-of-way of North 20th Street, the zoning line along the right-of-way of West Kilbourn Avenue, a line 100 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 20th Street and a line 156 feet North and parallel to the north line of West Kilbourn Avenue, from Multi-Family Residential (RM6) to Two-Family Residential (RT3); and
 
The zoning line along the right-of-way of West State Street, the zoning line along the right-of-way of North 19th Street, a line 148.33 feet South and parallel to the south line of West State Street, a line 75 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 20th Street, a line 89 feet South and parallel to the south line of West State Street and the zoning line along the right-of-way of North 20th Street, from Multi-Family Residential (RM4) to Two-Family Residential (RT4).
