Resolution authorizing the proper City Officers to execute Quit Claim Deed QCD-2933 conveying the sanitary and storm sewers located in vacated East Melvina Street between North Fratney Street and vacated North Pierce Street and in vacated North Pierce Street between vacated East Melvina Street and a point 270 feet south of East Capitol Drive, in the 6th Aldermanic District. These sewers are being conveyed because they are no longer needed for public use.
Body
Whereas, the City of Milwaukee owns the sanitary and storm sewers located in vacated East Melvina Street between North Fratney Street and vacated North Pierce Street and in vacated North Pierce Street between vacated East Melvina Street and a point 270 feet south of East Capitol Drive; and
Whereas, The City will convey the sanitary and storm sewers located in vacated East Melvina Street between North Fratney Street and vacated North Pierce Street and in vacated North Pierce Street between vacated East Melvina Street and a point 270 feet south of East Capitol Drive; and
Whereas, The said sewers to be conveyed no longer serve the public interest; and
Whereas, Capitol Commons Partners, LLC has agreed to accept ownership of said sewers, and therefore be it further
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2933) in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
