This resolution effectuates a provision of the 2005 adopted city budget relating to the city's contribution to the Police Annuity and Benefit Fund. The resolution requires the Department of Administration to submit options to the Common Council for benefit improvement and a stable pension contribution.

Whereas, The 2005 city budget contains a footnote requiring the Department of Administration to submit options to the Common Council for benefit improvement and a stable pension contribution to the Police and Annuity Benefit Fund; and

Whereas, By amendment and footnote to the 2005 adopted city budget, the Common Council wishes to ensure improved benefits and a stable pension contribution to the Police and Annuity Benefit Fund; now, therefore, be it  

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of Administration shall submit options to the Common Council during 2005 for benefit improvement and a stable pension contribution to the Police Annuity and Benefit Fund.
