This resolution authorizes the sale of a vacant, City-owned lot.

BODY:

Whereas, The adjoining owner, Ms. Bobbie N. James, with her property located at 3215-17 West St. Paul Avenue, has offered to purchase the vacant, City-owned lot located at 3211-13 West St. Paul Avenue, Tax Roll Key No. 401-0003-6, from the City of Milwaukee containing 4,800 square feet for use as green space for $1; and

Whereas, The other adjoining owner already has a 7,800 square foot property so was not offered part of said City-owned lot; and

Whereas, This vacant, City-owned lot is being sold in an "as is" condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lot to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other City-owned lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lot is declared surplus, said Offer is accepted, and the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as may be required to consummate the sale of said lot and that the proceeds be credited to the Reserve For City Fund Account No. 01-191-9944.
