The purpose of the Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families Grant is to positively impact infant mortality, improve birth outcomes, and strengthen African American families and communities by strengthening father involvement in their child(ren’s) and partner’s lives by intensive, evidence-based, and participant-driven fatherhood-focused home visitation services to expectant and parenting fathers in an 11 zip code targeted area in Milwaukee.
