This resolution directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a document titled “Intergovernmental Agreement Relating to the Sharing of Costs for the 2022-2026 Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality program cycle for the Milwaukee County Beerline Trail Extension Between Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee” for the cost sharing of the design, construction, and construction engineering of the Beerline Trail Extension from the existing Beerline Trail at West Capitol Drive to West Olive Street (City), West Olive Street to City limit approximately 300 ft west of North Port Washington Road (County), City limit approximately 300 ft west of North Port Washington Road to City limit approximately 500 ft west of North Port Washington Road (City), City limit approximately 500 ft west of North Port Washington Road to City limit approximately 100 ft east of North Green Bay Avenue (County), and City limit approximately 100 ft east of North Green Bay Avenue to North 20th Street (City) in the 1st and 6th Aldermanic Districts with a total estimated cost of the project to be $1,818,550, with a grantor share of $1,454,840, and a local of $363,710, of which the City’s share is $316,392 and the County’s share is $47,318. This resolution also directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds for design at an estimated cost of $0 with an estimated City share of $(7,218) and a County share $7,218.
