Resolution changing the hourly rate charged by Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C. for representation of the Employes' Retirement System Annuity and Pension Board (Board) in six issues. (ERS)
ANLS:
This resolution changes the hourly rate for the Law Firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C. from $150.00 to $185.00 per hour for representation of the Board, effective March 1, 2000, in six cases where the City Attorney cannot represent the Board.
BODY:
Whereas, The Board is empowered to engage such services as shall be required to fulfill its fiduciary responsibilities under the terms of the Milwaukee City Charter, and
 
Whereas, The Law Firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C. represents the Board in MPA, et al. v. City, et al., Case No. 95-CV-011251; MERS, et al. v. City, Case No. 97-CV-000685; MPA, et al. v. City, Case No. 97-CV-007996; DeBraska, et al. v. City, Case No. 93-CV-016054; City v. ERS, Case No. 00-CV-003439 (Global Settlement); and, Indemnification by the City; and
 
Whereas, The Board and the Law Firm have amended their agreement to raise the hourly rate from $150.00 (Resolution No. 961273) to $185.00, effective March 1, 2000; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the approved hourly rate of the Law Firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek, S.C., be $185.00, effective March 1, 2000, for representation of the Board in the six issues referenced above.
