Substitute resolution amending a special privilege granted to Milwaukee Press & Machine Company to keep and maintain a backup driveway and loading beam in the public right-of-way adjacent to their property located at 114 East Pittsburgh Avenue, to now delete reference to the loading beam and change the name of the grantee of the special privilege to Kramer International, Inc., in the 12th Aldermanic District in the City of Milwaukee.

This resolution amends a special privilege granted to Milwaukee Press & Machine Company to keep and maintain a backup driveway and loading beam in the public right-of-way on the west side of South Ferry Street, adjacent to the premises known as 114 East Pittsburgh Avenue, to now delete reference to the loading beam and change the name of the grantee of the special privilege to Kramer International, Inc.
BODY:
Whereas, Milwaukee Press & Machine Company was granted a special privilege under Common Council Resolution File Number 630402, on June 11, 1963, to construct and maintain a backup driveway and loading beam encroaching into the public right-of-way on the west side of South Ferry Street adjacent to the premises at 114 East Pittsburgh Avenue; and
Whereas, Field inspection found that the loading beam was no longer in place in the public right-of-way; and
Whereas, The current owner of the property is Kramer International, Inc. and should now be named as the grantee of the special privilege; and
Whereas, The backup driveway may only occupy the public right-of-way through the adoption of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 630402 is hereby rescinded; and, be it
