Analysis
This resolution directs the City Comptroller under previously executed document titled “Grant Agreement Under the Fiscal Year 2022 Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program” with the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration for the programming, design, and construction of Pedestrian Accessibility and Safety Improvements at up to 26 intersections City Wide on West Capitol Drive, West Atkinson Avenue, South 16th Street, West Greenfield Avenue and West Forest Home Avenue. The Agreement provides for 80 percent Federal aid and 20 percent local cost sharing for preliminary engineering. Construction funds for this project will be included in future resolutions.
