This resolution appropriates $60,000 from the 2002 Common Council Contingent Fund to the Department of Employee Relations' Operating Budget for payment of Interest and Grievance Arbitration costs in 2002.

Whereas, The Department of Employee Relations' Operating Budget Account is budgeted at $401,033 for 2002; and
Whereas, Year to date in 2002, $375,171 has been paid in operating expenses, leaving only $25,862 to fund an estimated $85,862 in unpaid 2002 expenditures; and
Whereas, Additional funds are needed to pay Interest and Grievance Arbitration Costs for 2002; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that an amount not to exceed $60,000 shall be transferred from the 2002 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-0001-C001-006300-2002) to the Department of Employee Relations' Operating Budget Account (006300-0001-1650-R999-2002); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish all funds and necessary account procedures to fulfil the intent of this resolution.
