Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming, design and construction of South 35th Street from West Burnham Street to West Greenfield Avenue with State and Federal aid under the Surface Transportation Program. The estimated total cost of the project is $1,956,500, which is an increase in construction cost of $17,500, of which the City’s share is $17,500 and the Grantor’s share is $0. Construction funds for this project will be in future resolutions.

Whereas, A project agreement has been executed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee for the improvement of South 35th Street from West Burnham Street to West Greenfield Avenue using State and Federal Aid under the Surface Transportation Program, in accordance with the Common Council Resolution File Number 100021, adopted May 25, 2010; and

Whereas, The project agreement between the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Milwaukee was revised for additional funding with the Common Council File Number 121746, adopted April 30, 2013; and
