Title
Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial Heavy (IH) to Industrial Mixed (IM), on land located on the North Side of West Pierce Street and East of South 16th Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance will allow for additional light industrial uses such as artist studios for existing buildings located at 1512-1528 West Pierce Street.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-801.3.0004. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the zoning line within the right-of-way along West Pierce Street, a line 252 feet East and parallel to the east line of South Muskego Avenue, a line 583 feet East and parallel to the east line of South Muskego Avenue and the south line of the Soo Line railroad right-of-way, from Industrial Heavy (IH) to Industrial Mixed (IM).
