Title

Resolution authorizing the appropriate officials to enter into an electrical services agreement with Clear Channel Outdoor and Milwaukee Transport Services related to the installation of enhanced transit shelters in the City of Milwaukee.

Analysis

Common Council File Number 020959 authorized the installation of enhanced transit shelters in the City of Milwaukee subject to certain conditions.  Pursuant to this resolution, city officials have negotiated a bus shelter electrical services agreement with both Clear Channel Outdoor, Milwaukee Division, and Milwaukee Transport Services setting forth the terms under which these shelters will be installed.  This resolution authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into this agreement.

Body

Whereas, Common Council File Number 020959 authorized the installation of enhanced transit shelters in certain locations in the City of Milwaukee subject to certain conditions; and

Whereas, City officials, Clear Channel Outdoor, Milwaukee Division and Milwaukee Transport Services have negotiated an agreement to implement the provisions of Common Council File Number 020959, a copy of which is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appropriate City officials are authorized and directed to enter into the Amended Bus Shelter Electrical Services Agreement for the installation of enhanced transit shelters in certain parts of the City.
