This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

W. Custer Ave. - N. 60th St. to N. 61st St. (821-4440-X) File Number 960093: Relay water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund 42-641---101-0001 -- $105,000)
4th Aldermanic District
W. Clybourn St. bridge over the Milwaukee River (840-0028-2): Cable replacement on the vertical lift bridge. (Bridge Construction Fund 31-523---011-0001 -- $20,000)
4th and 12th Aldermanic Districts
Modification of Several Movable Bridges to Allow Operation from Remote Locations to Increase Efficiency and Reduce Operating Cost (840-0029-8) (Bridge Construction Fund 31-523---011-0001 -- $150,000)
