Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 2 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 002, delete the title "Custodian Supervisor II" and add the title "Building Services Supervisor."

Part 2.  Section 2 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 - December 24, 2000):

Under Salary Grade 011, delete the title "FMIS Project Manager (Information Systems Specialist.)"

Under Salary Grade 012, add the title "Functional Applications Manager 3/" with the following footnote: "3/ Recruitment is authorized up to the ninth step of the salary grade."

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2001 (December 24, 2000).

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.

Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
