This resolution will accept a portion of a reservation for public street purposes and reject the unneeded portion of the reservation on the southerly side of West Adler Street at vacated South 85th Street.


BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has title to a parcel of land, containing a reservation for street purposes, on the southerly side of West Adler Street at vacated South 85th Street; and

Whereas, West Adler Street has been paved over a portion of said City owned land; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City of Milwaukee hereby accepts the following described parcel of land, which has been reserved for public street purposes for widening a portion of West Adler Street at vacated South 85th Street:

That part of lands in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 33, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at the southeast corner of said 1/4 Section; thence North 01 deg. 38 min. 01 sec. West, along the east line of said 1/4 Section, 837.72 feet to a point; thence South 89 deg. 32 min. 37 sec. West 306.51 feet to a point, said point being the southeast corner of a property described in a Warranty Deed dated July 21, 1992 and recorded on August 5, 1992 as Document No. 6646501 in Reel 2836 and Image 529; thence North 00 deg. 27 min. 23 sec. West 94.00 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described, said point also being the most easterly northeast corner of the property described in said Warranty Deed; thence continuing North 00 deg. 27 min. 23 sec.
