This resolution amends a special privilege granted to Milwaukee Motive Mfg. Company to maintain a backup driveway in the public right-of-way on the east side of South 1st Street, adjacent to the premises known as 1820 South 1st Street, to now change the name of the grantee of the special privilege to Flower Forwarding, Inc.
BODY:
Whereas, Milwaukee Motive Mfg. Company was granted a special privilege under Common Council Resolution File Number 57-2005a, on December 26, 1961, to maintain a backup driveway encroaching into the public right-of-way on the east side of South 1st Street adjacent to the premises at 1820 South 1st Street; and
Whereas, The current owner of the property is Flower Forwarding, Inc. and should now be named as the grantee of the special privilege; and
Whereas, The backup driveway may only occupy the public right-of-way through the adoption of a special privilege resolution by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council Resolution File Number 57-2005a is hereby rescinded; and, be it
Further Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that Flower Forwarding, Inc., 1820 South 1st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53204, is hereby granted the following special privilege:
