Substitute motion to approve recommendations of the Utilities and Licenses Committee relative to renewal of the rooming house license issued to Eric H. Olsen - Genesis Behavioral Services, Inc. for the premises located at 1218 W. Highland Avenue, in the 4th Aldermanic District.

ANLS:

This substitute motion renews the rooming house license of Eric H. Olsen - Genesis Behavioral Services, Inc. for the premises located at 1218 W. Highland Avenue.

BODY:

Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on November 23, 1998, relative to the renewal of the rooming house license of Eric H. Olsen - Genesis Behavioral Services, Inc. for the premises located at 1218 W. Highland Avenue; and

Whereas, The Utilities and Licenses Committee, after hearing all of the testimony of the Milwaukee Police Department voted unanimously (3 ayes, 0 noes, 2 excused) to recommend renewal of said license; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, hereby accepts the recommendation of the Utilities and Licenses Committee to renew the rooming house license of Eric H. Olsen - Genesis Behavioral Services, Inc. for the premises located at 1218 W. Highland Avenue despite police objections.
