Analysis

This resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds in accordance with s. 67.04, Stats., for public buildings for housing machinery and equipment. The bond proceeds will be used to fund American's With Disabilities Act improvements in the amount of $425,000.

Whereas, The 2001 budget of the City of Milwaukee authorizes contingent borrowing in the form of general obligation bonds or notes for any purposes not contemplated at the time the budget was accepted; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that it hereby and herewith authorizes and declares its purpose to issue and sell general obligation bonds in the amount of $425,000 for public buildings for housing machinery and equipment.
