Analysis
This resolution authorizes the sale of three vacant, tax-deed and City-owned lots.
Body
Whereas, PARS Properties, LLC, with its property located at 1950 North 20th Street, has submitted an Offer to Purchase the vacant, tax-deed and City-owned lots located at 1940 and 1948 North 20th Street and 1923 West Brown Street, Tax Key Nos. 351-3404-7, 351-3403-1 and 351-3401-0, respectively, for a total of $3,000 for development of a parking lot and green space; and

Whereas, The Department of City Development recommends acceptance of said Offer due to the extensive rehabilitation and investment PARS Properties, LLC, has put into their adjoining apartment building; and

Whereas, Closing is contingent upon submittal and approval of site plans by the City's Planning Director; and

Whereas, Said lots are being sold "as is" and the City of Milwaukee makes no representations or warranties regarding said lots including but not limited to soil and subsoil condition; and

Whereas, The City Plan Commission has approved the acceptance of said Offer, the sale of said lots to be consummated in the manner provided for in the sale of other tax-deed and City-owned lots pursuant to Section 304-49 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said lots are declared surplus, that said Offer is accepted, that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to perform such acts as necessary to carry out the intent of this resolution, and that the proceeds from the sale, less a 15 pe...
