Substitute ordinance to further amend the 1999 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 980576 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 007, add the title "Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Manager."
Part 2. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 980576 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 235, add the title 'Water Plant Laborer."
Part 2. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 980576 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows: (Effective Pay Period 07, 1999 - March 21, 1999)
Under Pay Range 445, add the title "Archives Technician."
Part 3. Section 23 of ordinance File Number 980576 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Create a new Pay Range 931 as follows:
"Pay Range 931
Official Rate-Hourly
$12.42 $12.85 $13.30
Microbiologist Project Assistant 1/
1/Recruitment may be at any step in the pay range."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 07, 1999 (March 21, 1999)
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
