Title
Resolution authorizing the issuance of a street occupancy permit to KPH Environmental for environmental remediation activities at 2612 West State Street, in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to KPH Environmental allowing them to occupy the north-south alley west of and abutting 2612 West State Street for environmental remediation work related to the demolition of the subject premises.
Body
Whereas, KPH Environmental has been contracted by the Department of City Development for environmental remediation services at 2612 West State Street; and
Whereas, KPH Environmental has requested to occupy the north-south alley abutting the subject premises beginning October 29, 2018 through November 29, 2018; and
Whereas, KPH Environmental will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure and the affected dates; and
Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue an occupancy permit to KPH Environmental allowing them to occupy the north-south alley abutting 2612 West State Street beginning October 29, 2018 through November 29, 2018.
