Title

Analysis

This resolution accepts the average current cost of replacing the privately-owned portion of a lead water service line.

Body

Whereas, Pursuant to section 225-22.5-8-a of the code, the average current cost of replacing the privately-owned portion of the lead water service line service shall be established each year by the Commissioner of Public Works; and

 

Whereas, based on costs accrued from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2021, the average current cost of replacing the privately-owned portion of the lead water service line is $5,170; now, therefore be it

 

Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the average current cost for replacing the privately-owned portion of a lead water service line is $5,170.
