This substitute ordinance will permit the property to be developed for residential uses.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-422.0004. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded by the centerline of East Vine Street extended, the centerline of North Commerce Street, the centerline of East Pleasant Street, the centerline of North Palmer Street, a line 89 feet South and parallel to the south line of East Vine Street, a line 157 feet East of the east line of North Palmer Street, from Industrial (I/B/85) to Residential and Specialty Use Subdistrict A (C9B(A)).
