The purpose of this resolution is to confer common council approval on a memorandum of understanding between the City of Milwaukee negotiating team and the Local #215, Milwaukee Professional Fire Fighters' Association, relative to compensation for certain employees assigned to the Heavy Urban Rescue Team.

Body
Whereas, The agreement between the city negotiating team and the Milwaukee Professional Fire Fighters' Association, Local #215, International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO, relating to compensation for assignment to the Heavy Urban Rescue Team has been reduced to writing; and

Whereas, The memorandum of understanding embodying the agreement reached by the parties, a copy of which is attached to Common Council File No. 001414 and incorporated herein as though fully set forth at length, was executed subject to ratification by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the compensation for assignment to the Heavy Urban Rescue Team as contained in the agreement between the city negotiating team and the Milwaukee Professional Fire Fighters' Association, Local #215 International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO, is approved; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the proper city officials are directed to take the necessary action or to make the necessary recommendations to the Common Council or the appropriate committees or boards to implement the terms of this agreement; and, be it
