Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a Maintenance Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the North Interchange (and associated Jobs Corridor projects) in the City of Milwaukee. Facilities improved as part of these projects are generally located between West Brown Deer Road, West Good Hope Road, North 124th Street, and North 110th Street.

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) recently completed construction of the North Interchange and Jobs Corridor projects; and
Whereas, Several City of Milwaukee infrastructure facilities were affected along the following streets: West Good Hope Road between USH 41/45 and North 124th Street, West Bradley Road directly east of North 124th Street, North 124th Street from the USH 41/45 Interchange to Drezka Park Road, West Park Place from West Bradley Road to North 110th Street, the local connector street over the USH 41/45 Interchange between West Park Place and the West Fond du Lac Avenue frontage road, and the West Fond du Lac Avenue frontage road from the local connector street to the Milwaukee County Grounds.
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee, the Village of Menomonee Falls and WISDOT staffs have worked together to prepare an Agreement to formalize the ownership, operation, and maintenance of the North Interchange, the Jobs Corridor facilities and those local infrastructure components affected by their construction; and
Whereas, No significant fiscal impact is anticipated with the Agreement; and
