ANLS:

- Analysis - This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Water Works to negotiate a water service agreement with the Village of Butler subject to Common Council approval.

BODY:

Whereas, The Common Council, under Resolution File No. 990229, authorized the Water Works and the Legislative Reference Bureau to study and evaluate the request for water service from the Village of Butler; and

Whereas, Both the Water Works and the Legislative Reference Bureau have submitted reports to the Common Council regarding the study and evaluation of Butler's water service request; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Milwaukee Water Works is hereby authorized to negotiate a wholesale water service agreement with the Village of Butler; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the negotiated agreement be submitted to the Common Council for approval prior to execution, and if approved, be filed with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin.
