Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Library, Health Department and Department of Public Works-Operations Division.

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 003, delete the title “Automotive Mechanic Supervisor I” and add the title “Fleet Repair Supervisor I.”

Under Salary Grade 005, delete the title “Automotive Mechanic Supervisor II 1/” and add the title of “Fleet Repair Supervisor II 1/.”

Part 2. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Pay Range 260, add the title of “Lead Bookbinder.”

Part 3. Section 4 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Pay Range 360, delete the title of “Lead Bookbinder.”

Part 4. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Pay Range 593, add the footnote designation 1/ after the title “Health Information Specialist” and add footnote “1/” to read as follows: “Recruitment may be up to the third step of the pay range.”

Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 6. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
