Minutes note: The court reporter was sworn in. The question was put: Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Licenses Committee, and any written exceptions, if filed, in these matters? All members indicated that they had done so. The question was put: Are the following applicants, complainants, or their Counsels present and, if so, do they wish to address the Council?: Matthew Amann was present. Liza "Betty" Lutz-Palmer was present. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council convene itself into a Committee of the Whole for the purpose of taking testimony in these matters. There was no objection. Matthew Amann appeared and addressed the Common Council. Liza "Betty" Lutz-Palmer appeared and addressed the Common Council. Asst. City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared and addressed the Common Council. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection.
