Analysis
Common Council Resolution File No. 991982, adopted May 19, 2000, authorized and directed the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for improvement of West Capitol Drive (STH 190) between North 60th Street and North 35th Street with Federal and/or State Aid as part of the State Trunk Highway Program. It is now necessary to begin preliminary engineering on the project. This resolution authorizes and directs the City Comptroller to transfer funds and establish the necessary accounts for the preliminary engineering for this project. The estimated cost for preliminary engineering is $345,000, of which the City's share is $86,250.

Whereas, Common Council Resolution File Number 991982, adopted on May 19, 2000, authorized and directed the Commissioner of Public Works to execute project agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) for the improvement of West Capitol Drive (STH 190, 57) between North 60th Street and North Green Bay Avenue and the transfer of funds for preliminary engineering for the segment east of North 35th Street; and

Whereas, It is necessary now to begin preliminary engineering on the segment between North 60th Street and North 35th Street; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the City Comptroller is hereby authorized to create within the Capital Improvement Fund, Grant and Aid Projects, the necessary Project/Grant Chartfield Values for preliminary engineering for the project from North...
