ANALYSIS
This resolution authorizes the proper City officers to execute a one-year lease with US Bank National Association, successor in interest to Firstar Bank, for twenty-two (22)
off-street parking spaces in a lot located at 930 West Maple Street.
BODY
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee has entered into a lease and lease extensions with US Bank National Association, successor in interest to Firstar Bank, for twenty-two (22) off-street parking spaces located at 930 West Maple Street; and
Whereas, There has not been a rental increase on this property since 1993; and
Whereas, US Bank National Association, successor in interest to Firstar Bank, has requested that this lease be established for a one-year term commencing July 1, 2002, under the same terms and conditions as the former leases and extensions with the exception of the rent which will be increased from $125 per month to $150 per month and for which there will be two one-year extensions; and
Whereas, No additional public parking needs have been identified for this lot; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to enter into a one-year lease with US Bank National Association, successor in interest to Firstar Bank, beginning July 1, 2002, with two one-year extensions permitted at the option of the City, for twenty-two spaces in the lot located at 930 West Maple Street for $150, payable in advance to the City of Milwaukee.
