This substitute resolution authorizes the Department of City Development (Milwaukee Arts Board) to accept additional funding for a Regranting Program Grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board in the amount of $4,450. This amount will be matched by a City of Milwaukee In-Kind Share. This brings the total In-Kind City Share for this Grant program to $24,450.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved the acceptance and funding of a Regranting Program Grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board ("Grantor") under Common Council File No. 990112, adopted May 11, 1999, with a Grantor Share of $20,000 and an In-Kind City Share of $20,000; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee ("City") now appears to be eligible for additional grant funds from the Wisconsin Arts Board in the amount of $4,450 with an In-Kind City Share of $4,450 for art programming; and

Whereas, The Department of Administration, Intergovernmental Relations Division, has determined that operation of this Grant program from June 30, 1999 to June 30, 2000 will now cost a total of $48,900, of which $24,450 or 50 percent will be provided by the Grantor; and

Whereas, The total local share of this Grant program, $24,450 or 50 percent, will be provided from the following sources:

In-Kind City Share: $24,450

Out-of-Pocket City Share: $-0-

Local, Non-City Share: $-0-

Whereas, The Department of Administration, Intergovernmental Relations Division, has determined that the benefits to the City from this Grant program appear to exceed the City's share of costs and other obligations to be incurred under this program; now, therefore, be it
