Analysis

This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate said portion of street in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This resolution will eliminate a minimal building encroachment at the corner of North Downer Avenue and East Belleview Place.

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that an approximate 3 foot by 4 foot triangular portion of street at the intersection of North Downer Avenue and East Belleview Place be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said portion of street in accordance with Section 308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
