- Analysis -

This ordinance lists, for specific locations, central business district parking meter hours and weekend parking hours. It replaces a one-year pilot program authorized by the Common Council in September, 1997, and makes permanent the hours authorized in the pilot program. This ordinance is paired with another ordinance, file number 980618, which abolishes the pilot program and makes technical amendments necessary for the establishment of permanent and uniform central business district parking meter hours and weekend parking hours.
