Analysis

This resolution authorizes payment of the claim of Willie Lyons, III, C.I. File No. 1048-2013-1219 in the amount of $5,549.50.

Body

Whereas, The claimant, Willie Lyons, III has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $7,349.50, and

Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $5,549.50, and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $5,549.50, payable to the order of Willie Lyons, III, 3327 North 24^th Place, Milwaukee, WI  53206, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claim, approved as to form and execution by the City attorney; said amount to be charged to Water Department Account 006300 - Fund No. 0410 - Organization 6410  Program 2631 - Sub Class R643.
