Title
Substitute resolution creating a ONE Milwaukee Task Force.
Analysis
This resolution creates a ONE Milwaukee Task Force consisting of:

1. The Common Council President or designee.
2. The Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent or designee.
3. The Milwaukee Public Schools Board President or designee.
4. The Chair of Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors or designee.
5. A Milwaukee County Supervisor appointed by the Chair of the County Board of Supervisors or designee.
6. A Common Council member appointed by the President of the Common Council or designee.

The Task Force shall:

1. Identify infrastructure coordination and resource-leveraging opportunities between the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County and Milwaukee Public Schools.
2. Propose cost-saving and cost-sharing agreements where resources can be aligned to create opportunities for bridging infrastructure gaps to create inclusive and sustainable service pathways to improve outcomes for Milwaukee communities.
3. Work to ensure that all proposals and agreements are comprehensive, place-based and data-driven.
4. Focus its efforts on Milwaukee communities identified as Promise Zones.
5. Work to advance the priorities identified in the Blueprint for Peace, Milwaukee County Racial Equity Plan and MKE Evaluate Plans.
6. Monitor and regularly report on the progress of any agreements.
7. Make recommendations regarding other possible opportunities for coordination and collaboration between Milwaukee County, the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee Public Schools.
