Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library to apply for a Work Rewards: Family-Based Career Exploration and Planning Grant from the MetLife Foundation. The purpose of the project is to investigate the paths to meaningful work and to inspire youth to pursue positive choices toward future success.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from MetLife Foundation to investigate the paths to meaningful work and to inspire youth to pursue positive choices toward future success; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the MetLife Foundation is authorized.
