-Analysis- This resolution would approve Lease Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, for use of approximately 906 square feet of office space located at 2061 S. Harbor Drive, on the South Harbor Tract for use as a Milwaukee Grain Inspection Service or such other state agency as may be designated by Lessee.
BODY:
Whereas, The Board of Harbor Commissioners has approved a Lease Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Milwaukee Grain Inspection Service for use of approximately 906 square feet of office space located at 2061 S. Harbor Drive, on the South Harbor Tract, City of Milwaukee; and
Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture will use the property for Milwaukee Grain Inspection Service, or such other state agency as may be designated by Lessee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said Common Council hereby ratifies and approves the Lease Agreement between the City of Milwaukee, by and through its Board of Harbor Commissioners and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Milwaukee Grain Inspection Service for the term of three (3) years commencing February 1, 1998 through January 31, 2001, at an annual rental of $7,451.85 per year; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the designated officers of City Government and of said Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement to carry out this purpose as prepared by the City Attorney's office.
