This resolution confirms the report of the Commissioner of Public Works, as modified by the Common Council Committee, on projects for which Public Hearings have been held. The resolution authorizes the levying of special assessments and directs the installation and construction of said public improvements.
BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions, determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct and levy special assessments for the following improvements:

1st Aldermanic District

Alley between W. Capitol Dr., N. 39th St., N. 31st St., and Lands North (Westerly portion) (883-1051-3) File Number 960854: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, and grading. (Nonassessable Alley Paving Fund 31-523---212-0001 -- $19,915; Assessable Alley Paving Fund 71-523---212-0001 -- $24,060)

Alley between W. Hampton Ave., W. Mother Daniels Way, N. 35th St., and N. 36th St. (Omit northerly 175 ft. m/l of North-South leg)(887-0871-2) File Number 960092: Concrete alley pavement reconstruction, replace some abutting sidewalk and driveway approaches, grading, and storm drainage facilities where needed.
