Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Health Department to apply for, accept and fund the Tuberculosis Control Grant Project from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services in the amount of $7,500. The purpose of the project is to provide training to program staff and to provide incentives for high-risk clients to ensure compliance with follow-up procedures.

BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services to provide training to program staff and to provide incentives for high-risk clients to ensure compliance with follow-up procedures; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant project from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services to program staff and to provide incentives for high-risk clients to ensure compliance with follow-up procedures would cost $7,500 entirely provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Common Council File 940843 (Grant Ordinance); and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:

1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2003 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects fund, the following amounts for the project titled Tuberculosis Control Grant:
