This resolution amends the City Personal Communications Services (PCS) Policy, passed by the Common Council June 25, 1996. The current PCS Policy makes the Department of Administration Information Resource Manager the City's sole negotiating agent for marketing City-owned communication sites to communication services vendors. The resolution amends the Policy to make the Department of Administration the City's negotiating agent.
BODY:
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that item 7 of the City Personal Communications Services (PCS) Policy included in Common Council File No. 960170, passed by the Common Council on June 25, 1996, is amended to read as follows:
"7. DOA is negotiating agent: The City designates the Department of Administration as its sole negotiating agent for marketing City-owned sites to communication services vendors. City departments, divisions and agencies of the City shall not negotiate their own PCS agreements."
