Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council.
Body
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
5th Aldermanic District
N. 92nd St. at W. Hampton Ave. (WT410031057): Water main alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $5,000)
6th Aldermanic District
N. 10th St. - W. Concordia Ave. to W. Keefe Ave. (WT410031110): Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund -- $5,000)
Various Aldermanic Districts
Asphalt resurfacing of various streets by contract. (ST211030135)
Sealcoating of various streets by contract. (ST211030134)
; and, be it
Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
