A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2025 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
Department of Administration (Office of the Director), Common Council-City Clerk

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 240764 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 3, 2025 - January 19, 2025):

Under Pay Range 2LX, add the title “Innovation Policy Analyst (2)”.

Part 2. Part 3 of ordinance File Number 240764 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2025 - December 22, 2024):

Under Part III - Boards and Commissions: Compensation and Reimbursement, add paragraph G. to read:

G. Milwaukee Youth Council: Members of the Milwaukee Youth Council shall be compensated at the rate of $25 per meeting, for a maximum of 22 meetings per calendar year. At the end of each quarter, the City Clerk shall submit to the Comptroller’s Office a list of members eligible for payment together with a record of the number of meetings each member has attended during that quarter. Compensation shall be made at the end of each quarter or as soon as administratively feasible.

Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4. The provisions of Parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2025 (December 22, 2024).

Part 5. The provisions of Parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 3, 2025 (January 19, 2025).
