This ordinance establishes fees for certain election commission services which will be implemented over a 2-year period.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. Section 81-48 of the code is repealed and recreated to read:
 
81-48. Election Commission Service Fees. Fees shall be charged for the following services:
 
1.Report of registered voters:
 
a.City-wide: $837.50 for calendar year 1998 and $1675 thereafter.
 
b.By aldermanic district: $47.50 per district for calendar year 1998 and $95 thereafter.
 
c.By ward, school board district, assembly district, county supervisor district, state senate district: $2.50 for calendar year 1998 and $5 thereafter.
 
2.There shall be a $3.50 charge per diskette for all orders.
 
3.Alphabetical sequence report, including either all registered voters, all persons who voted, all persons who voted on site or a combination of these categories: $2.50 per ward for calendar year 1998 and $5 thereafter.
 
4.Address sequence report, including either all registered voters, all persons who voted, all persons who voted on site or a combination of these categories: $2.50 per ward for calendar year 1998 and $5 thereafter.
 
5.Listing of registered voters on self-adhesive labels by aldermanic district, ward, school board district assembly district, county supervisor district, state senate district or city-wide: $0.03 per label.
