This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute a Permit and Agreement document, SA-2729.
Body
Whereas, On December 17, 2002 and on April 15, 2003, the City of Greenfield adopted resolutions requesting permission from the City of Milwaukee to connect proposed City of Greenfield storm sewers to existing storm sewer manholes in the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, Said storm sewers are to be constructed in West Norwich, West Tesch, West Waterford and West Van Beck Avenues within the City of Greenfield at their points of intersection with the northerly extension of South 81st Street in the City of Milwaukee, said extension being the City limits line; and

Whereas, There are existing storm sewers in West Norwich, West Tesch, West Waterford and West Van Beck Avenues within the City of Milwaukee; and

Whereas, The City of Greenfield has been experiencing surface flooding in a low lot that is located between the extensions of South 81st and South 82nd Streets, West Norwich and West Van Beck Avenues in the City of Greenfield; and

Whereas, Said surface flooding has affected some City of Milwaukee properties; and

Whereas, The City of Greenfield intends to solve said surface flooding by constructing stormwater inlets and drains within Greenfield City limits; and

Whereas, Said stormwater drains are proposed to be connected to a City of Milwaukee storm sewer manhole located in West Van Beck Avenue; and

Whereas, It is in the public interest of both communities to eradicate the surface flooding; and

Whereas, Said existing storm sewers have enough hydraulic capacities ...
