- Analysis -

This ordinance revises the city's accrued time-off donor program for city employes by providing that prior to April 1, 1999 employes may receive donations totaling more than 3,120 hours (the current maximum is 2,080). From and after April 1, 1999 the maximum number of hours is reduced to 2,080.

BODY:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 350-45-3-a of the code is amended to read:

350-45. Accrued Time-Off Donor Program.

3. RECIPIENTS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND RULES.

a. [[Eligible]] >>Prior to April 1, 1999, >>eligible<< employes may receive donations of accrued time-off totaling not more than [[2,080]] >>3,120<< hours per illness from any qualified city employe regardless of department or union affiliation. >>From and after April 1, 1999, eligible employes may receive donations of 2,080 hours per illness from any qualified city employe regardless of department or union affiliation.<<
