This ordinance requires operators of hotels to pay a state of Wisconsin administrative fee, in addition to the city licensing fee. This ordinance also adopts ch. HFS 195, Wisconsin Administrative Code, which prescribes rules for the operation and maintenance of hotels, motels and tourist rooming houses.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. Section 200-33-26-d of the code is amended to read:
 
200-33. Fees.
 
26. LICENSED DWELLING FACILITIES.
 
d. Hotels. The fee for a hotel permit shall be $200 per year. >>In addition the applicant shall pay the state of Wisconsin administrative fee, the amount of which is on file with the department of neighborhood services<<.
 
Part 2. Section 275-20-1.5 of the code is created to read:
 
275-20. Licensing of Licensed Dwelling Facilities.
 
1.5. ADOPTION OF STATE CODE. Except as otherwise provided in this subchapter, the city of Milwaukee adopts ch. HRS 195, Wis. Adm. Code, as amended, as part of this code.
